Standard large-format weekly magazine with a colour cover dominated by a black-and-white photograph of a figure bent against floodwaters in Galveston, with a large wave and pier structure visible behind; cover text reads "With Six of Our Photographers IN THE EYE OF A MIGHTY STORM" and "Fighting Carla's Winds in Galveston," dated September 22 · 1961 · 20¢. A mailing label, printed upside-down, is affixed to the lower cover and bears a Shreveport, LA address. The spine shows tanning and the cover has light creasing and minor soiling consistent with age; interior pages visible in the second photograph appear intact and retain colour, including a full-colour spread photographed by Dmitri Kessel depicting what appears to be an airport terminal at night.

Good/Fair — tanned spine, light cover creasing and soiling, mailing label adhered to front cover; interior pages appear complete and legible with colour retained.
