A full mint sheet of United States Postage 3-cent Iwo Jima stamps printed in olive-green on a darker-toned background, mounted behind glass in a dark wood frame with a white mat and navy-blue inner mat. Each stamp bears the image of the flag-raising scene and is inscribed 'IWO JIMA' and 'UNITED STATES POSTAGE.' In the upper-left margin of the sheet, above the stamp perforations, a bold ink signature reads 'Felix de Weldon, sculptor,' with the printed sheet number '23295' visible directly below the signature.
