The chart border legend reads 'EAST CHINA SEA NO. C-53' with the notation '(other side Chart No. C-52)' and an alphanumeric reference 'N1205-E11326/2703X3740' visible in the close-up photograph. The cloth is cream/off-white in ground colour with blue water areas and multi-coloured route or zone markings; the chart is heavily folded with pronounced fold lines and crease wear throughout but no visible tears or missing sections.
