Single-sided escape and evasion map printed in black ink on off-white woven silk or rayon cloth, titled 'BULGARIA–ROUMANIA' in bold capitals at the top. The map covers Bulgaria, Romania, and adjacent territories including parts of Greece, Yugoslavia, Hungary, and Turkey, extending south to Thessalonike and Istanbul; it shows railways, first- and second-class roads, rivers, and international boundaries via a printed reference key at lower right, with a scale bar reading 1:2,000,000 in statute miles. The cloth is printed on one face only, with 'GREECE' visible in inverted text along the top edge indicating a second map printed on the reverse or a bordering sheet; the piece carries the reference code '9T' at lower right and the printing authority legend 'A.D.I.(Maps) Air Ministry NY 7317' at lower left. The cloth is cream-coloured and shows heavy fold creasing throughout, with some wrinkling and minor soiling consistent with folded storage; no tears or significant losses are visible in the photographs.
