Kepi-style peaked cap with a crimson/magenta twill fabric crown and a dark navy wool body band carrying three parallel gold braid stripes. The front bears a gold-tone metal badge depicting a winged monogram surmounted by a crown, and a separate six-pointed gold star lower on the band. A twisted gold cord chinstrap runs around the band, secured at each side by a small gold tassel knot and a domed button. The rear panel shows a gold braid chevron trim applied to the crown-to-band join. The peak is black lacquered leather with stitched edging. Interior has a tan fabric lining with a printed maker's label reading 'seymour / B-8500 KORTRIJK / Tel. (056) 22 39 23' and size '56'. No visible damage; overall condition appears very good with minimal wear.
